Moong dal prices down

Prices of moong dal decreased but other commodities ruled steady in the wholesale foodgrains market here during the week under review.
Moong dal opened the week at Rs 8,500, down by Rs 500 per quintal from its closing rate of Rs 9,000 and maintained the same trend till today.
However, Thoor Dal Rs 13,500, Urad Dal Rs 16,000, Gram Dal Rs 7,500, Sugar Rs 3,850, Wheat Rs 2,600, Maida (90 kg) Rs 2,500 and Sooji (90 kg) Rs 3,000 ruled steady throughout the week.
