Moong dal, sugar and maida move up

Prices of moong dal, sugar and maida increased while rest all other commodities ruled steady in the wholesale foodgrains market here today.
Moong dal opened the week at Rs 9700, an increase of Rs 100 per quintal from its closing rates of Rs 9600.
Sugar rose by Rs 50 per quintal to Rs 3050 from its previous rate of Rs 3000.
Maida (90 kgs) increased by Rs 50 to Rs 2450 from its last rate of Rs 2400.
Tur dal, urad dal, gram dal, wheat and sooji ruled steady.
Following are the wholesale rates of various agri-commodities today (in rupees per quintal, except where stated otherwise): Thoor Dal Rs 7,000 Urad Dal Rs 7,200 Moong Dal Rs 9,700 Gram Dal Rs 3,900 Sugar Rs 3,050 Wheat Rs 2,400 Maida (90 kg) Rs 2,450 and Sooji (90 kg) Rs 2,600.
