Moral values should be part of school curriculum: Kaptan Singh

Punjab and Haryana Governor Kapatan Singh Solanki today called for an essential mix of modernity as well as moral values in the contemporary education.
"A nation is judged by its people, history and education. We must ensure that our education system covers all aspects of ethical and social values, along with modernity and development," he said.
Speaking at a function here, the Governor also stressed on the need for science and technological education.
"The students should focus on research and development, if we want to become a global leader in the field of Science and technology," he said.
