"The government has decided to develop more industrial estates in Jammu and its periphery as part of its industrial promotion policy," minister of state for Industries and Commerce, Sajjad Ahmed Kitchloo today told a deputation of Jammu Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI) led by its president Y V Sharma here.
"The process for establishing more industrial estates in Jammu has been started and the government is looking for suitable sites," the minister said.
The government is keen to promote commerce and industry in the state, the minister said adding, every possible effort is being made to create a congenial atmosphere for its growth.
