MoU between Haryana, UP for bridge construction

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) will be signed between Haryana and Uttar Pradesh for the construction of a bridge on river Yamuna, Haryana government today said.
The MOU will be signed on June 13 and will connect Bilaspur-Khojkipur Road located in Panipat with Tanda-Kurdi-Nangal-Sai Mandir Chaprauli-Barot Road located in Uttar Pradesh, an official spokesperson said.
The proposed bridge would be about 1,121 meters long and would connect villages of district Baghpat of Uttar Pradesh with villages of district Panipat of Haryana.
It would be constructed near Hathwala village in Panipat and village Chaprauli in Uttar Pradesh, the spokesperson said.
An amount of about Rs 120.44 crore would be spent on the construction of this bridge which would be completed within 3 years, he said.
Haryana government would take loan from National Capital Regional Planning Board, he added.
