MP: 1000 IMFL boxes seized from 'gas tanker', two held

Police today seized as many as 1000 cases of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) worth Rs 50 lakh which were being transported in a gas tanker in neighbouring Agar district.
Police arrested tanker driver and the cleaner in this regard.
"Police spotted the tanker during routine checking at around 6 AM and found that instead of gas it was carrying 1000 cases of IMFL," said Agar police station incharge R K Chaturvedi.
The tanker was heading towards Gujarat from Gurgaon, he said, adding the value of seized liquor is to the tune of Rs 50 lakh.
The arrested duo have been identified as Hasan Khan and Alauddin.
