"I strongly feel that the two MLAs should not have apologised as doing so has led to widespread disappointment among Congress workers," state Congress disciplinary committee chairman Hazarilal Raghuvanshi told PTI today.
Madhya Pradesh Assembly Speaker Ishwardas Rohani had terminated the membership of Choudhary Rakesh Singh Chaturvedi and Kalpana Parulekar for "unruly behaviour" on the floor of the House last week.
The legislators had later apologised over the incident.
However, a special day-long session of the state Assembly will be convened on July 27 to restore their membership.
