Nahid Jahan, a representative of the supervisors, said if MP government did not reverses its decision to "re-examine" them and also not permit them to go for "euthanasia", then the women supervisors would stage a hunger strike from November 1.
A total of 1,019 women supervisors under the banner of MP Samvida Karmachari Adhikari Mahasangh submitted a memorandum at Chouhan's official residence yesterday in protest against the MP state government's "dual policy" on regularisation of their services.
Rathore said that these supervisors already cleared the recruitment examination and have been working in their department since their appointment.
While services of other government officials, panchayat secretaries and teachers were regularised by the MP government on the basis of experience, women supervisors were not being confirmed despite having sufficient experience, he alleged.
The women supervisors said they have already crossed 50 years of age and if they appear in the direct recruitment again, they would have to compete with young women which is not possible for them at this juncture of their lives.
