MP Governor, CM extend Diwali greetings

Madhya Pradesh Governor Ram Naresh Yadav and Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan here today greeted people of the state on the occasion of Diwali.
The Governor in his message, said, "Among the festivals celebrated in our country, Deepawali is the most important both from social and religious point of view. It gives us message of propriety, truth, Karma and harmony."
The Governor said the festival lives up to the saying "from darkness to light," an official release said.
The Chief Minister also extended hearty greetings to people in the state on Deepawali and urged them to make Madhya Pradesh a model state by taking personal interest in Swachhata Abhiyan.
In his greeting message, the Chief Minister prayed to Devi Laxmi to bless people of the state and bring prosperity, progress and happiness in every household. He wished for employment to all youth, network of major and small industries throughout the state.
The Chief Minister wished that the light of development and happiness reaches houses of the common and poor people.
Chouhan has called upon people of the state to lighten a lamp for state's development and progress also in their houses and contribute their best towards it.
He urged people to make Madhya Pradesh a model state taking personal interest in Swachhta Abhiyan.
