MPCC compiles booklet on failures of Fadnavis-led government

Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) is compiling a booklet on "failures" of the Devendra Fadnavis-led BJP government in Maharashtra to implement its pre-election promises of making the state "toll free" and scrapping Local Bodies Tax (LBT), party sources said.
MPCC president Manikrao Thakre told reporters here today that the Fadnavis government is making excuses on promises about LBT and toll.
"We plan to release the booklet by our party leaders, by organising a huge event to highlight failures of this government," Thakre said.
He also lashed out at the Maharashtra government for doing "nothing" to mitigate hardships of farmers reeling under severe drought in Marathwada and Vidarbha.
