MPs discuss GST issue during interactive sessions at Par'l

A series of interactive sessions on the contentious Goods and Services Tax (GST) issue was organised for Parliamentarians here, at a time when it has triggered a battle of wits between the government and the Opposition.
The programme held at the Parliament House under the Speaker's Research Initiative, had begun on December 7 and concluded today, a release from Lok Sabha Secretariat said.
During the five-day programme of SRI, several domain experts on GST interacted with MPs during separate sessions.
"Members of Parliament showed keen interest in the sessions and proactively interacted with the domain experts who apart from extensive briefings also clarified on the issues raised by members," the release said.
