MRF Ltd 3qtr standalone net zooms 79 per cent

Tyre major MRF Ltd has registered an over 79 per cent jump in its third quarter net profits to Rs 323.51 crore.
The Chennai-based company had reported Rs 179.89 crore net profit during the corresponding period of last year.
Total income from operations for the October-December 2014 quarter increased to Rs 3353.01 crore from Rs 3200.57 crore registered during the year ago period.
Shares of the company ended at Rs 40,702.75 a piece, up 7.44 per cent over previous close at the BSE.
