MSD Telematics acquires Heuristics Info Systems

MSD Telematics today said it has acquired Heuristics Info Systems in an all cash deal.
The financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
"This investment will fuel our ability to deliver greater value to customers by enabling us to offer complete bouquet of services. Heuristics gives us the ability to now service international clientele with innovative and robust software solutions," MSD Telematics Founder Ashmeet Singh said.
Founded in 2008 by Amit Dubey and Pradeep Rai, Heuristics offers vehicle tracking system and mobile application software. Following the acquisition, Dubey will join MSD Telematics as a board advisor.

Udacity launches Deep Learning Nanodegree Foundation Prog * Online education company Udacity has launched a Deep Learning Nanodegree Foundation Program.
The online education startup has partnered with YouTube star Siraj Raval for the new deep learning nanodegree foundation program that will be co-taught with Udacity's Mat Leonard.
"Deep learning is one of the building blocks of AI. Our new Deep Learning Nanodegree Foundation program with Siraj Raval gives students the ability to quickly learn a topic to be able to move into our more advanced Nanodegree programs like Artificial Intelligence, Self Driving Car and Machine Learning," Udacity Chief Marketing Officer Shernaz Daver said.
