According to a recent Government Resolution (GR), the buses were taken from Bhiwandi and Thane to ferry those arrested on February 12, 2014, during the agitation against toll plazas by MNS to places concerned.
The GR said the amount is being sanctioned from the grant to district police force for 2016-17.
MNS had launched the agitation to abolish toll in the state ahead of the 2014 Lok Sabha and state assembly polls.
