"Our protest programme will be peaceful and not in line with that of the CPI(M) under any circumstance," he said condemning the manhandling of Mitra and blocking of the passage of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee by SFI activists near Yojna Bhavan in Delhi.
He alleged that CPI(M) had always been 'undemocratic' in its movement which "We will never be".
"Our culture does not match that of the CPI(M)," the Trinamool Congress MP said.
