Addressing a public meeting at Keylong, headquarter of Lahaul and Spiti district, Singh said a multi-level Parking would be constructed at Keylong while Rs 9.38 crore would be spent on NABARD-aided Khandip water canal, catering to 16 tribal villages.
After construction of8.9 Km-long Rohtang tunnel, the Lahaul valley would be connected with an all-weather road while thedistance would be reduced by 40 Km and driving time by four hours.
The Chief Minister said work on irrigation projects in the valley would be expedited.
