Mumbai ACP dies of pneumonia, lungs disease

An Assistant Commissioner of Mumbai Traffic Police (MTP) died of pneumonia and lungs related disease at a private hospital here, police said today.
Dilip Shinde (55), who was posted as ACP (admin) at MTP headquarters in Worli was admitted to hospital on July 7, they said.
He succumbed during treatment for pneumonia and lungs related disease, police said.
An officer of 1987 batch, Shinde served Mumbai Police for 30-years in various capacities.
He had served at Santacruz, Dharavi, Mahim police stations, they said.
