Murder accused commits suicide in Udaipur jail

An undertrial prisoner allegedly committed suicide in a barrack in Rajasthan's Udaipur jail, police said today.
Thirty-year-old Lal Singh, who was lodged in Udaipur jail in connection with a murder case, committed suicide last night by hanging himself from the ceiling, they said.
The body has been shifted to a hospital for postmortem, police said, adding that the matter is being probed.
