Murder convict escapes from BHU Hospital

A 35-year-old prisoner serving life term in a murder case today escaped from BHU Hospital here, police said.
Zahir-Ul-Haq had been keeping unwell and was admitted to the hospital in Lanka area of the city on July 1, Station Officer Dev Prakash said.
Haq, who had been behind the bars at the Central Jail here for last ten years, gave police officials and the hospital staff the slip today, he added
A search is on to nab him, the officer said.
