Murder convict held after jumping parole

A man who was convicted of murder and jumped parole was arrested along with another criminal in Khayala area of west Delhi, police said today.
Police arrested Ranjeet who was in jail after being convicted in a murder case and later jumped parole, yesterday. He is also wanted in three attempt to murder cases.
He was arrested along with Zakir, who is also wanted by police in several cases, said Vijay Kumar, DCP (west).
The duo allegedly fired on police to escape but were caught later on. Firearms and live rounds were recovered from them, said the officer.
