Muslim minorities today demanded that both BJP and Congress should field at least 25 candidates each from the community in Rajasthan assembly polls later this year.
"In last assembly polls the Congress had given tickets to 17 Muslim candidates, of which 10 won," Sayed Asgar Ali, chairman and convener of Minorities Educational and Welfare Society said here.
Both, BJP and Congress, should field Muslim candidates on basis of the population, he said and demanded implementation of reports of Ranganath Misra Commission and Sachar Committee.
