Addressing an international seminar yesterday on the 100th foundation day of Darul Musanfeen Shibli Academy here, Nadvi said education was the key to remove backwardness among the community.
The community could progress only through education and for that revolutionary efforts made earlier should be taken forward, he said.
Nadvi said Sir Syed Ahmad Khan and Maulana Shibli Nomani realised the importance of education which led to the foundation of revolutionary institutions such as Aligarh Muslim University and Shibli Academy.
Other academicians also stressed on the need for education for the community.
