The bail plea of 18 people, accused of killing eight persons in Kutba village during 2013 Muzaffarnagar riots, was today rejected by a court here.
Additional District and Sessions Judge Jitender Kumar rejected the bail application of the accused, saying, "there is no case of bail", prosecution said.
Eight persons, including a woman were killed and 20 others injured during the riots in Kutba.
Earlier, police had registered cases against 110 rioters.
According to the Special Investigation Team (SIT), which was set up to probe the riots, more than 50 people were allegedly involved.

The communal clashes which took place in the district in September 2013 claimed at least 60 lives and rendered thousands of people homeless.
