Myanmar national held with heroin

A Myanmar national was today arrested and 126 gm of heroin seized from his possession by the Special Narcotic Cell of Mizoram Police.
The contraband, reportedly smuggled from Myanmar via Champhai district, was worth around Rs 4.95 lakh in the local market.
The accused was booked under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, the police added.
