Myneni wins ITF Futures title in Bhimavaram

Indian Davis Cupper Saketh Myneni won his first singles title of the season after beating his doubles partner Sanam Singh in the final of USD 10,000 ITF Futures tournament, here.
The big serving Myneni, who is fast developing as a force in Indian tennis, overcame his senior compatriot 4-6 6-3 6-1 in the summit clash.
Myneni fired 10 aces and saved seven of the nine break chances he faced in the match.
It was second title of the week for Myneni, who also won the doubles trophy with Sanam. They had defeated N Sriram Balaji and Ranjeet Virali Murugesan 7-6 (5) 6-3 in the final on Friday.
