Naidu's Man Friday for 24 years relieved

Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu today relieved his close aide for 24 years Satya Kumar as the latter wanted to pursue "political work".
"Relieved Satya Kumar, OSD (officer on special duty) to VPI on his request as he wants to pursue political work. My best wishes for his future endeavours. God bless him," Naidu tweeted from his personal Twitter handle @MVenkaiahNaidu.
Naidu recalled Kumar's long association with him.
"...was associated with me for the past 24 years. He is very sincere, hard-working and always performed his duties with missionary zeal," he said.
No new OSD has been named, official sources said.
