Nashik: chief secretary reviews Kumbh Mela preparations

Maharashtra Chief Secretary J S Saharia today reviewed the infrastructural preparations for the Kumbh Mela, which would be held here next year.
Divisional Commissioner Eknath Davale, Nashik range's Inspector General of Police Praveen Salunkhe, Police Commissioner Kulwant Kumar Sarangal, Collector Vilas Patil, Nashik Municipal Commissioner Sanjay Khandare and zilla parishad CEO Sukhdev Bankar attended the meeting.
Principal Secretary for Urban Development Shrikant Sinh was also present.
Later, Saharia also reviewed preparations for the April 17 and 24 Lok Sabha polling in eight Parliamentary constituencies in the Nashik division. He asked the officials to take steps for increasing the voting percentage.
