'Glee' creators Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan's anthology programme will be set on a college campus besieged with mysterious murders, reported Deadline.
Pedrad is expected to have a leading role when the series debuts this fall on Fox.
The 33-year-old Iranian-American actress most recently starred in Fox sitcom 'Mulaney', and previously was a cast member on 'Saturday Night Live' for five years.
'Scream Queens' is attracting an all-star cast, including Emma Roberts, Jamie Lee Curtis, Lea Michele, Joe Manganiello, Abigail Breslin, Ariana Grande and Nick Jonas.
