A total of 61,077 cases were disposed off in the National Lok Adalat, held in the district court premises here today. Rs 16,20,36,850 was disbursed as settlement amount, District Judge Ram Krishna Upadhayay said.
Upadhayay said that 36,876 cases of revenue department and 780 cases of bank loan recovery were settled today.An amount of Rs 8.7 crore was deposited by the borrowers.
He noted that 23,421 civil cases were settled by the Lok Adalat.
