The students, who have been provided accommodation in government schools, said they are having a difficult time in the night due to broken window panes in most of the schools.
The team in-charge of various states have already conveyed their unhappiness to Delhi government's Directorate of Education over poor condition of accommodation in 33 schools where the participants are staying.
They complained that their students have found it extremely difficult to stay in schools as window panes in most buildings are either "missing" or "broken".
"There is no proper arrangement for drinking water as well," a team in-charge said.
The students started coming to the city from January 1 to participate in 58th National School Games. The city government is organising the event at a cost of around Rs one crore.
Officials said 19 sporting events are taking place in 30 places across the city. The event started on January 2 and will come to an end on January 8.
When asked about the difficulties being faced by the participants, Education Minister Kiran Walia said she has directed officials to address the grievances.
The national capital continued to be in the grip of an intense cold wave with minimum temperature plummeting to 2.7 deg C today.
