Titled as 'Towards Self-reliance in Advanced Ceramics for Strategic Sectors- Acer-2016', the programme is intended to bridge the gap between academia, Research and Development organizations and industries in the sector.
The workshop, which will be organised by the Indian National Academy of Engineering in association with Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre, will feature lectures by eminent personalities in the field of advanced ceramics across academia, strategic sectors and industries, a release said here.
The event will also provide an opportunity for industries and R&D organizations to exhibit their products and participate in panel discussions which will aid in culminating the fledgling ideas into tangible applications, it said.
