"Balram Jakhar was a very distinguished two-term Speaker of the Lok sabha. He was a towering figure of the Jat community and an agriculturist par excellence," Singh said.
Jakhar passed away here today. He was 92.
"I had the great fortune to know him for three decades. My sincere condolence to the bereaved family," said Singh.
