Navy Chief Admiral Sunil Lanba today held talks with his Nigerian counterpart Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ekwe Ibas with a focus on boosting bilateral naval cooperation.
Ibas is on a four-day visit to India with an aim to consolidate ties between the navies of the two countries.
Officials said that Admiral Lanba and Vice Admiral Ibas discussed a host of issues relating to naval cooperation between the two countries.
The Nigerian Navy chief is also scheduled to meet with the Chief of the Air Staff B S Dhanoa and Chief of the Army Staff Gen. Bipin Rawat.
