The naxal activity on Parasnath hills in Giridih district will be crushed by this year end, Pandey told newsmen after holding a meeting with the Giridih Superintendent of Police B Beriar.
He said the state administration is serious about the security arrangement in Bhelwaghati situated on the Jharkhand -Bihar border of the district.
The Jharkhand Police Chief said he had a discussion with his Bihar counterpart in this regard recently and it has been agreed that Bihar police personnel will be deputed at Bhelwaghati along with Jharkhand police to put rein on naxal activities.
