Naxals kill one in Banka

Armed naxals raided a village in
Banka district of Bihar and killed one person.
Police officials said the incident happened at Tarkura village under Belhar police station of the district, when a group of 10 naxals belonging to CPI (Maoist) attacked the house of a 40-year-old person identified as Harendra Narayan Singh and killed him yesterday.
Belhar Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Piyush Kanth said the naxals were in police uniform and they first shot Singh and then slit his throat with a sharp weapon.
Police reached the village today morning. The dead body has been recovered and sent for postmortem.
