Gurubari Mohapatra (55) of Palisasan village in the district had sustained over 70 per cent burn injuries in the last week's mishap.
While one person died on the spot and another succumbed to injuries at SCB Medical College and Hospital on September 23, the day of explosion, four others succumbed to injuries while undergoing treatment here the next day.
"Of the ten injured brought here, six have died and condition of the remaining four are still critical," Cuttack Hospital Emergency Officer B N Moharana said.
The state government is bearing the expense of treatment of the injured.
