Maharashtra NCP today stepped up its attack on state education Minister Vinod Tawde saying it will send one lakh letters to him seeking his 12th standard marksheet.
NCP spokesperson Nawab Malik told reporters that every week party workers will send 1,000 letters to the minister seeking his marksheet.
"Following which the number of letters will double every week. In six months, we will send one lakh letters," he said.
Malik said if Tawde does not make his 12th standard marklist public, the party workers will organise a "march" to his office and residence to demand his ouster from the council of ministers.
Tawde's engineering degree had come under cloud after it was revealed that his alma mater Dyaneshwar Vidyapeeth was 'bogus'.
