The over 70 complaints pertain to -- job (33), atrocity (20) and land (19).
This is followed by Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh and Chhattisgarh which reported 70, 65, 63, 59 and 57 such complaints respectively, in the same period, Minister of Tribal Affairs Sunil Kumar Mondal said in a reply in Lok Sabha today.
Tripura (48) and West Bengal (42) also reported large number of complaints related to job, atrocity, land, education, among other factors.
Most of the complaints are related to job.
According to the Ministry, all the representations received in the Commission have been dealt with within a time frame, as per rules and procedures of the NCSTs.
