NDRF saves two drowning girls

National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) personnel today saved the lives of two girls drowning in Shiv Ganga pond at Deogarh in Jharkhand.
The on duty NDRF personnel heard cries of help and successfully rescued two girls, a statement from the 9th battalion of NDRF said here.
The girls were taking bath in the Shiv Ganga pond on the occasion of Shrawani Mela when the mishap happened.
Two teams of NDRF are presently deployed at Deogarh and Basukinath in Jharkhand for Shrawani Mela, the statement said.
