Molecular imprinting technology has attracted many scientists around the world as it has novel applications in medical and environmental science, Director of NEERI, Dr S R Wate, said in a release today.
"Therefore, this seminar has been organised with a view to provide the state-of-the-art information on the latest developments and best practices related to molecular imprinting for mitigating environmental pollution (air, water, waste water pollution, etc) and treatment of various diseases," he said in the release.
NEERI is working on molecular imprinting to combat environmental pollution. Dr R J Krupadam, scientist, CSIR-NEERI, presently working on molecularly imprinted polymers, is the convener of the seminar.
The seminar will go on till February 7.
