Neighbour arrested for raping minor: Police

A youth was arrested for allegedly raping a 14-year-old girl in her house at Bhopa village in the district, police said today.
The victim, a twelfth class student, was sent for medical examination.
According to a complaint lodged by the victim's uncle, the accused neighbour Kapil Kumar allegedly barged into the house yesterday, raped her and also threatened to kill herif she told anyone.
Meanwhile, a newly born girl child was found in a polythene bag in a jungle area here, police said.
The baby has been admitted in district hospital here.
"The child is healthy and has been shifted to the district hospital for care," said Dr Khan Chand of a government primary health centre.
