The 40-year-old gay actor also believes that his three-year-old twins, Harper and Gideon, would have better learning in New York, reported Contactmusic.
"We're very excited. David's done a lot of theatre, and then I sort of uprooted him to Los Angeles. I'm anxious for him to get to work more," Harris said.
"In New York there's so much for them to see and learn," he added.
The couple, who got engaged in 2011 after being in a relationship for 7 years, recently bought a USD 3.6 million house in Harlem (northern New York), which sprawls in 8,000 square feet.
