Koirala administered the oath of office and secrecy to Sunil Thapa of Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) as Minister for Commerce and Supplies, Nilam K C of CPN-ML as Minister for Women, Children and Social Welfare, and Giri Bahadur K C of RPP-N as State Minister for Commerce and Supplies, according to cabinet sources.
Thapa is the son of RPP Chairman and former Prime Minister Surya Bahadur Thapa.
With the expansion, the cabinet size has reached 24.
Nepali Congress chief Koirala, leader of Nepal's biggest political party, was elected as Prime Minister on February 11 with 405 votes in favour in the 601-member Constituent Assembly, ending months of political crisis in the country.
