government In Kerala will launch a slew of e-Governance initiatives which includes e-KYC for Aadhaar Project, Citizen Portal for e-Office Project, and e-Learning Portal as part Digital India programme launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on July 1.
State Minister for Industries and IT P K Kunhalikutty would launch the programmes at a function here on July 6, an official release said here today.
E-Office was introduced in all departments in the secretariat in August 2013. So far it has been implemented at 21 departments either fully or partially.
Another major initiative is e-learning platform that offers a learning environment vastly different from the traditional classroom and helps the department,trainers and course creators to set up an online classroom setting with opportunities for rich interaction and collaboration with their students, the release added.
