The state-of-the-art hall measuring 7,500 square feet was inaugurated by its chairperson Nirmala Birla at the B M Birla Science Centre along with artist Jagdish Mittal yesterday.
The exhibition hall will be let out for holding temporary exhibitions by budding and seasoned artists. The gallery has been built using modern technology of display and lighting.
On the occasion, Nirmala Birla said that the new hall will provide a platform to budding artists to showcase their work and will encourage artists from small places to bring out their work. She also said that they are planning to conduct art workshops in near future.
