New Tulu film released

A new Tulu film 'Barsa' (rain) by noted regional language director Devdas Kapikad was released in DakshinaKannada and Udupi districts today.
Produced under the banner of Bolli Movies, veteran producer Srinivas Ujire inaugurated a formal ceremony held as part of the release here.
Shrinivas said Devdas Kapikad had given another gift to Tulu cinema.
He had entertained theaudience with his dramas and now he had set his mark in Tulucinema also, he said. Kapikad thanked everyone for their support to Tulu cinema and hoped more films in the local language, without a script, would come in future also.
'Barsa,' a family entertainer, is the third movie produced under the Bolli Movies banner.

The film has been produced by Sharmila D Kapikad, Mukesh Hegde and Swapna Shrinivas Kini. P L Ravi is the cinematographer.
Actor Arjun Kapikad and debutant Kshama Shetty are cast in the lead roles in the movie.
