A newborn girl was found abandoned in front of a house in Kotwali Police Station area, officials said today.
The chief medical officer said the girl was left in front of the house last evening. The locals found her after hearing her cry and admitted the child to a district hospital.
She is currently under treatment, the chief medical officer said.
According to footage from a CCTV camera, a woman had arrived in a car and left her child outside the house.
