The chargesheet was filed in the NIA Special court here days ahead of completion of 180 days judicial custody by the accused under the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA), which would have made them eligible for default bail.
One of the accused, Kamaruddin, is absconding.
Cases had been registered against the accused under various sections of IPC, Arms Act and Explosives Act.
Police suspect that the arrested persons had connections with some extremist organizations, including Indian Mujahideen.
NIA submitted that further investigation in the case was necessary as some of the accused have received funds from abroad and their bank accounts and telephone records needs to be examined.
