Nia Peeples files for divorce from husband Sam George

TV actress Nia Peeples has filed for divorce against her surfer husband Sam George in Los Angeles Superior Court citing irreconcilable differences.
The pair, who married in August 2007, have been together for nearly eight years and have no children, reported E!Online.
Peeples, 53, has a son and daughter from previous relationships.
The TV star, who is known for her role as Emily Fields' mother on the ABC Family series, was previously married to actor Guy Ecker (1994-1996), singer Howard Hewitt (1989-1993) and director Lauro Chartrand (1997-2004).
