Former Backstreet Boys member Nick Carter has released a new song "Get Over Me" which features guest appearance from Avril Lavigne.
The 35-year-old musician said they came up with an idea to do a song with Lavigne after they went on a tour with his group Backstreet Boys, reported Aceshowbiz.
"I talked to Avril about doing a collaboration together, and we became friends - we were on tour together with the Backstreet Boys. She was into the idea, and she really liked it. She liked the song that I had written, and she put her vocals on the song, and it was really cool," he said.
"Get Over Me" will be a part of Carter's third solo album "All American".
